Mathematica v13.1

IMPORTANT! Currently (23.01.2025) we have only 8 licenses of Mathematica 13.1.
Please close your Mathematica session when finished, so the license can be used by someone else.

If you get an error message

  Mathematica Qt issued a fatal error: Could not initialize GLX

and Mathematica won't start, try to disable GLX:
export QT_XCB_GL_INTEGRATION=none # bash
setenv QT_XCB_GL_INTEGRATION none # tcsh


If you start Mathematica v13.1 for the first time:
  1. A window pops up, asking for Activation:

    Mathematica Activation

    → click on "Other ways to activate"

  2. On next window click on → "Connect to a network license server"



  3. Then enter the name of the license server: → webserv.agnld.uni-potsdam.de



  4. Finally, accept the license agreement
